Good morning. Michael Thompson is 68. Serving 60 years in Michigan for a marijuana sale 25 years ago. Mom, dad, & son died while inside. Was cuffed at his mom's funeral. In 1994, he sold weed to a police informant. They also found legally owned guns (an antique & one of his wife's) in his house. But he had a record. So they charged him w/ felon in possession. And increased his sentencing bc of his record. Since incarcerated weed was legalized.
