I have what may be a silly question for followers who have color blindness on the TL: do you already have a concept of blues, reds, etc? One woman said “That shed is red! I thought it was brown”

I mean.. I’m sure you understand them as they looked to YOU, and then you put the glasses on and that’s an easy translation, but her “Oh it’s red, I thought it was brown” suggested an understanding of red (am I explaining this well?)

I’m still on the Enchroma page. So now I have a clearer understanding of color vision deficiency as a spectrum. For some, colors are just muted, for others, they can’t see certain distinct colors at all (purple seems to be the big one).

(Sorry y’all... I’ll move on probably in another hour. I’m fascinated right now)

These people keep taking their loved ones to the most colorful places possible to put these glasses on and I’m imagining it must feel like when the edibles kick in, and get a little scared for them.
