Friendly reminder that even if you can spend $0 on your faves, you’re still allowed to call yourself a big fan. You’re just as valid as someone who can spend $10,000. Being a fan isn’t about money, it’s about being willing to support your fave in a way that suits you.
And this can be simply watching the show they are in, it can mean liking every tweet they send out, or getting the word out when they do something for charity, it can mean going to cons, or it can be a single tweet thanking them for what they did for you. Find what works for you.
Do not let other people’s money or opportunities (because lets be honest, cons are limited to very few parts in this world and not everyone gets an equal shot at meeting their faves) make you feel like you’re less of a fan. You support your fave, and that alone is enough. 🤍
