Today is Emancipation Day in Jamaica, the day African slaves in British colonies received freedom from slavery.

Emancipation is different to independence (independence Day) this is about the freedom of African slaves...there's still much work to be done in the present day, but this is to celebrate our ancestors, our History! 😍
