Trans men often get turned away from doctors offices that provide reproductive health because the doctors are expecting cis women. If using trans-inclusive language helps even one trans man access important health care, it’s worth it.

I can’t imagine why this statement would be remotely controversial for anyone.

Way too many transphobes mistakenly belief trans inclusive repro health language came about because of trans women. Nah mate we have fuck all to do with it, we’re just supporting our brothers and non-binary pals.

Look up Robert Eads, a trans man who died from ovarian cancer because his original oncologist thought he needed psychiatry instead of cancer care (the doctor wanted him to believe he was really a woman).

Then all the other oncologists in his area refused to treat him too.
