Some things that Willian has done superbly overall the last 7 years which generally go unnoticed.

Superb off the ball movement, drags out defenders side to create space for other players to shine (Hazard). He’s been crucial in Hazard’s success.

Fantastic in tight spaces, has a lovely little shoulder drop which allows him to beat his man and open up sides.

Been able to step up when needed, I think back to Barca in 17/18 where Hazard was tightly guarded. He put in a top shift in the first leg and almost got us through

Good creativity, he has been a consistent producer of chances and has a good spark.

Fantastic work ethic, tracks back, a superb presser and doesn’t neglect his defensive work.

Regardless of your thoughts on him, I think it’s time to show him some respect for his service throughout the years. He has been fustrasting but has played a big role in winning multiple trophies. Thank you for your service Willian
