I think people are unaware of how organised the transphobes are in the UK. They've established online hate groups, groups that are attacking LGBTQ+ education in schools, groups attacking Stonewall, groups that infiltrate political parties, groups to "recruit" young lesbians...
They have thousands of fake social media accounts that spend 24 hours a day targeting trans & nonbinary folks and anyone who supports them. They have groups that monitor twitter, search for words and then call in other accts to pile on the abuse. They monitor all...
the groups and orgs that are set up to advocate for women and whenever they post something inclusive, they descend upon them in their 100's with hateful attacks that are relentless and can last for weeks (no exaggeration). They attack anyone who is inclusive with hateful...
vitriol. They stalk trans & nonbinary folks by typing in key words like "trans" for example and bombard them with transphobia. They steal trans & nonbinary folks selfies and post them to mock, humiliate and intimidate. These are all things that I see on a daily basis...
Meanwhile, trans & nonbinary folks just try to exist and get by from one day to the next but they can never do that peacefully. Transphobes are seeking out young vulnerable lesbians online to "recruit" them into the anti trans cult and it is a CULT. They indoctrinate.
They are heavily funded by right wing evangelical anti-LGBTQ+orgs in the US. This has been proven time and time again. The like of the Heritage Foundation and Hands Across the Aisle have their fingers in all the anti-trans "groups" in the UK. The UK anti-trans cult is very real.
I know a lot of folks out there think is "just an online problem" but it's not. These anti trans groups are targeting real world support systems and trans health care providers. They are loud online but make no mistake, they are just as loud in the real world.
The seriousness of the harm they are causing trans folks actual lives outside social media is something I see downplayed far too often. "Oh it's worse online!" is a thing I see most days.
Attacks on their rights are never ending right now in the UK and so many other countries worldwide. It's very much NOT just an online thing at all. I wish folks would wake up to this and stop downplaying the danger that trans & nonbinary folks are actually in in the real world.
While folks are downplaying this, anti-trans groups are lobbying the government to roll back trans rights, they carry out sustained and relentless email campaigns against companies and orgs that are inclusive. They target businesses and rape crisis centres and any...
org or business or institution that are trans inclusive. They call & email peoples jobs. They stalk & harass doctors and any other professionals who are trans or trans inclusive to get them fired. They lobby the NHS to remove health care and any websites that provide trans info.
I can go on and on here. It's a real world problem. They are seeking to do real world damage to trans folks. Please don't downplay this and try to reduce it to merely "loud online". It's much more insidious and far more dangerous than that.

Trans folks lives are on the line.
For those who may decide to challenge this: They tried to have mermaids funding removed & are still trying. They are targeting the GICs. They have targeted the NHS websites until they actually removed or changed guidance, the BBC has removed links... just a few examples of MANY.
When transphobes claim the "support trans people" they LIE. They are actively trying to do away with every single system of support and affirmation and all access to trans health care. ALL OF IT.
An example of how the NHS under the Tory Gov (which is anti trans & is using trans rights & health care as a wedge issue & distraction from the pandemic & brexit) has done a 180° on trans affirming care AGAINST the majority of medical orgs worldwide https://twitter.com/UKTELI/status/1289473421336891392
Here's a piece from Jane which briefly lays out the "vanishing of trans pages" on the BBC website. Again, I can't stress strongly enough how very organised anti-trans groups in the UK are and how much harm they are doing to trans folks in the real world. https://twitter.com/JaneFae/status/1289542877463244800
