I really pray this is short. Please read this and RT it, thanks.

So yesterday at my friend’s, where I went to have a good Sallah time, I noticed a great generational difference.
My generation, that’s the friends of my friend, and the generation of the adults, the friends of her dad and mom.

My generation sat inside the living room and we were almost all on our phones throughout because we didn’t know each other.
The father’s generation all sat outside, gisting, laughing and eating together, people that didn’t know themselves laughed and talked and made friends and new contacts.
While on my phone, I shook my head because if we really want to be honest a good percentage of our friends are virtual, they’re on the internet, from social media platforms, it’s not a bad thing at all oh, but I know we need to do better.
I don’t know what advice to give, but you know it doesn’t feel all right, being in a gathering and being on our phones all through, please if there’s a more specific advice to give add it to the thread because o sun ni mehn. Happy new month.
