Remember the IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia) poster that said "Sexual minorities are among you in your daily lives" and was rejected by Seoul Metro?

It's finally been put up as a result of internal review.

Located inside Sinchon Station. https://twitter.com/jjoobill/status/1289077616142512129
The pro-LGBTQ poster was rejected by Seoul Metro "because it could possibly cause social controversy/civil complaints".

Backlash from civic groups seems to have paid off 👏🏳️‍🌈 https://twitter.com/koryodynasty/status/1280294036805316608?s=20
I wonder how long it will take before the poster is vandalised by extremist conservative "Christian" homophobes like at this queer feminist bookstore in Seoul that was vandalised with messages like "homosexuality is a sin": https://twitter.com/ccol____/status/1231476441243471872
... or here the other day: https://twitter.com/koryodynasty/status/1287544788783251457
UPDATE: The LGBTQ poster in Seoul's Sinchon Station has been vandalised after 2 days. It said "Sexual minorities are among you in your daily lives"

It had been banned by Seoul Metro but was eventually accepted after backlash.

Homophobia in Korea is real. https://twitter.com/isye0202/status/1289733171492188160?s=19
S. Korean LGBTQ activists are now looking to repost the vandalised poster and file a police complaint. https://twitter.com/rainbowactionkr/status/1289780026355757058?s=19
This is so heartwarming. The S. Korean LGBTQ activists have gone back to the site where the LGBTQ subway poster ad was torn down and stuck back up the original sentence ("sexual minorities are among us") and also a statement condemning the vandalism. 👏🏳️‍🌈 https://twitter.com/rainbowactionkr/status/1289824112915804160?s=20
"We won't give up" 👏🏳️‍🌈😭 https://twitter.com/catcama_LGBTIQ/status/1289818380392775680?s=19
Someone has digitally re-written in red the LGBTQ poster ad that was homophobically torn down in Seoul's Sinchon Station. It reads:

"Sexual minorities will win against your hate"

😭👏🏳️‍🌈

(sorry I don't have the name of the person who made this)
UPDATE: The post-its to replace the vandalised LGBTQ poster in Seoul's Sinchon Station have themselves been vandalised, less than a day after being stuck up.

And the homophobes claim to be loving people. Makes me sick. https://twitter.com/rainbowactionkr/status/1290131801613058049?s=19
