Dear @KamalaHarris, Been thinking about you a lot these past couple of days. You have endured the wrath of so many, yet not once were you bitter or angry. They called you so many names, they slandered your reputation, yet still you asked your #KHive to be #JoyfulWarriors. 1/

You always rose above the others, calling them out when need be, but never mean-heartedly. We watched as people blatantly took advantage of your kindness and misconstrued your rebuttals as too harsh when the truth was too difficult for them to hear. 2/

Through the entire primary campaign, you & @douglasemhoff showed so much love to your opposition and their families. You separated your personal relationships with them from politics. This was the first time after the election was stolen from Hillary, that I was hopeful again. 3/

When you dropped out of the primary, some said it was because you were losing. Wrong. Money played a big part in your decision. But unlike others, you didn't want your supporters to keep contributing to a campaign that you wouldn't be able to sustain. That's selflessness. 4/

We were so devastated, but you lifted us up & asked us to keep fighting. You started helping other candidates with their races & asked us to support @JoeBiden for President. You knew that this was about so much more than just us. Again, you were selfless. Always #ForThePeople 5/

No other candidate has had such a diverse group of supporters like the #KHive. We are totally dedicated to you. Not because you are black or brown or a woman. We did our homework. We vetted you. You have all of the qualifications we think are important. 6/

This is why @JoeBiden should make you his running mate. You've not only been vetted several times by your own party, but you've been vetted by the most diverse group of women and men, especially POC. You know we don't come to play! #BidenHarris2020 #KHive 7/

The past few days, we've heard a lot of cringe-worthy comments about you from different people. This is very problematic. They think by doing so, we will cower & give up. WE WON'T. It makes us want to fight even harder. We speak truth & expect truth. No more of the misogynoir! 8/

The first thing that drew me to Kamala Harris was the way she uplifted children. Her words were their security blankets. Her hope for their future. Her warm embrace that made them feel like they belong.
