The fine print on the City of Chicago new COVID19 dashboard view: % positivity says rate test counts include MULTIPLE TESTS FOR THE SAME PERSON. This matters, b/c the city/county health dept are using this metric to justify further restrictions. @BenBradleyTV @MorningAnswer
I'm seeing in another place on the dashboard, Chicago changed "tests" to "people tested". The notes say this stat counts a person only once. I'm not clear on what happens if a person gets tested in June, and then again in July - either with the same or different results.
Continuing this thread, @Noosa57474103 noticed "some negative tests are not reported to CDPH". It seems the "People Positive" rate is what the city is highlighting in its communications. If negatives are missing, that's a problem, no?
