ugh, I wish I could just fast forward to when we as a society have just chilled the fuck out about seeing boobs. it's so stupid and irrational that they're considered inherently sexual on women but not on men. it's legit unfair that being topless is both so charged AND SO COMFY

I stumbled across a thread last month where someone realized they could kind of see the silhouette of my bra through one of my shirts in a youtube video, and they were asking people to edit/enhance the video to make it more visible and it's just like.... come ON. COME. O N.

It's indescribably exhausting to be made aware of the fact that my body and its visibility is framed in this way. It's sad that I'll never wear that shirt in a video again. I wish I could just live in my body.

Once I was joking about "feet guys" and a follower was like "well... you do post a lot of photos where you're barefoot"

it's just like... should I just not have a body? can I do that? that would be really helpful

Responding to this thread telling me to “do what [I] want” and “ignore the haters” is just... unbelievably missing the point. This is a widespread societal problem with real societal and personal consequences. This is so much deeper than a “you do you, boo”
