This is gonna be a thread of things I see in the novelizations for Star Wars movies that I wish were in the movies. It’s gonna take it’s time tho, so patience my young Padawan.
The Phantom Menace.
There is only a couple things here, mostly Anakin's life before the Jedi arrive, the fact that he already pod-raced before and the history of that, Qui-gon catching hints that Padme is not always the Queen, more insight into Maul, but most of all -

- the fact that Anakin named C-3PO with the 3 because he was to be the third member of their family.
Attack of The Clones.
Not gonna lie, this book is pretty much everything we see in the movie. We get a little more Threepio but the only thing would honestly be how some of the dialogue between Anakin and Padme is changed/expanded on to make it a little more awkward.

The Clone Wars.
Ive just started this one, but one thing that striked me a lot was Rex's talk with Ahsoka. In the movie its just basically "I have more experience". In the book he actually talks to her about fear, the difficulties of war and what it takes to get respect.

Ahsoka seeing the clones as individuals really sets up some actions she does in Siege of Mandalore beautifully, and Anakin’s internal thought about saving a Hutt and the rage he constantly feels really develop his character in ways that the movies often skip over.
Also, these monologues inside Anakin really show how he deals with being The Chosen One. Yes, he likes to show off how powerful he is, but he is also full of doubt and fear of when is he going to be enough, again, something the movies gloss over.
Also also, having moments where we acknowledge Ahsoka is not a stylized human but an actual different species that has different perceptions to things. Makes a lot of sense but the movie just skips over this. And the friendly bickering and teasing of the clones, showing their -
- humanity is something that I really feel the movies (specially this one) could have expanded a lot on. It just happens a lot. The show eventually does it, but the movie novelization does it so well that I’m sad the movie just didn’t.
Ventress is another character that is humanized and explained a lot more in the book. Where she comes from, why she does what she does. It also goes a little deeper into what makes droids less worthy than organics, and i feel like that is a very important this for the sw universe
