This will mainly pertain to your avi/pfp but bio, banner, emojis, username are all included.

Maybe you're memeing yourself into an identity, maybe you think you aren't and you think you're just trolling. Regardless, you are sending subconscious cues to others what you're about

In this vein there are no "bad" pfp's, the groyper especially is meant to be fat, disgusting, and smug. He looks directly into your eyes saying "I am what I am" and wants you to know he's delighted you feel disgusted by him.

celebrities, journalists, and politicians do this too.

Trump/Shapiro do an INTJ stare, and have matching combative personalities to match.

The less combative, like Jack and Biden, avoid eye contact and/or have a non-threatening expression.

This seems trite, but the average user online will walk into self-owns because their profile is an indictment against what they are saying.

Example: cozy gamer gimp feels attacked that performative reading was called consumerist, but his entire profile says he's a consoomer

In fact, you can gain a following of any particular type if you just engineer your profile. Again, there is no good or bad. Simply choices. Will elaborate.

There is something to be said about not taking yourself too seriously though.

Some put troll bios with the overuse of emojis, this is an intentional filter to discourage interaction with people you don't like. This can be seen mostly with progressive left twitter.

The more open and inoffensive your bio/banner/emojis, the more interaction you will get from outside your "clique"

Having it too complicated but not antagonistic signals you're part of said clique, and shuts out interaction with the outside

Choosing a pfp with a facial expression is how you portray your personality and demeanor. Goes beyond happy/sad. Are you whimsical, aloof, encouraging, despondent, annoyed, childlike, alienated?

The sheer variety of pepe edits like marv, smidge, apu is one example.

Anime can vary a lot too. Is it touhou? Are you black and use a naruto pfp? Hispanic, one piece? masculine with a berserker pfp? slice of life with malaise, or slice of life with a smile? Endless choices

Look at the different tones these have. affects how you see the user

I am not the best at this, but it's important to have resonance with your profile. Emojis should match the banner should match the pfp should match the bio.

The negative follower/following accounts don't do this well (although they aren't necessarily bad accounts)

By doing this, your brand stands out more, if you want to meme yourself into a brand, and you certainly gain a following. There is always some niche to be filled.

One caveat with branding is a lack of a physical face makes the account seem more impersonal. Cluttered pfp with no discernable face Makes you seem like a podcast stream rather than the podcaster.

To sum up, simply be self-aware, then it'll be your oyster. You can choose to be ugly with your profile, and masculine. That's not "bad" physiognomy if that's what you're going for.
