The aesthetics are better than what the advert showed, but still, the Wakandafication of African cultures is not okay. That critique has nothing to do with B's artistry but butchering of our continent's diversity. A person can be a great singer and still make a mistake.
I really suggest many of you read books on intersectionality and read them properly. Then reflect. There are so many layers to power. A white saviour is not the only saviour we should be careful of. Capitalist/rich saviours and hegemonic saviours are also a problem.
A person can have marginalized identities & still use their privileged identities to inflict power over others instead of elevating them. You understand this with White women & Black men, but you seem to not understand this with rich Black women who specifically live in the West.
