Hey folks, here are a few shots from my cross-country trip through South Dakota and into Montana. We're in Yellowstone Park now. LMK if you'd like to see more.
We spent the day exploring the magnificent Lamar Valley in Yellowstone Park today. We hiked to Trout Lake, which is surrounded by an alpine meadow of wildflowers and grasses. And saw a couple of Bald Eagles and had a very close encounter with a massive Bison.
Here's my Saturday evening update. Our morning started with another close encounter with a massive Buffalo, I got an amazing shot of a Red-tailed Hawk being chased off by a pair of crows and we relaxed by a beautiful waterfall along the Gardiner River. #YellowstonePark
Here's one more of the Lamar Valley as the sun set. They refer to it as America's Serengeti. Magnificent.
We're in Bozeman now, but I just love this shot of two Bison in the Lamar Valley with the sunset reflected in their eyes. It's mating season -- they're a couple.
