The real heroes behind making Pakistan a Nuclear State.

THREAD :

1. Munir Ahmad Khan: A Pakistani nuclear engineer and a nuclear physicist, who served as the chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) from 1972 to 1991. He is credited among the persons
(1)
who are called as "father of the Pakistan's atomic bomb project" Continued Short introduction of some other heroes that people should search and praise for their efforts.
(2)
2. Abdus Salam :He was the founding director of the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO),and responsible for the establishment of the Theoretical Physics Group (TPG) in the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC).Only Nobel prize in science from Pakistan.
(3)
3. Muhammad Raziuddin Siddiqui : He was amongst the most notable students of Albert Einstein. At PAEC, he was the director of the Mathematical Physics Group (MPG) and was tasked with performing mathematical calculations involved in fission and supercomputing.
(4)
4. Ishrat Hussain Usmani : He is remembered as one of chief architect of country's nuclear power expansion and also given co-credited to established country's first nuclear power plant in Karachi in co-operation with Canada.Usmani is colloquially known as father of the PAEC.
(5)
5. Ahsan Mubarak : In 1969, he was among top 5 scientists selected by the PAEC for training at plutonium production facility in UK. Ahsan advised the government to acquire the key components, materials and facilitated drafts which PAEC can built ingeniously.
(6)
6. Ishfaq Ahmed : He played an influential role in leading the physics and mathematical calculations in the critical mass of the weapons, and did theoretical work on the implosion method used in the weapons. He oversaw the 1998 nuclear tests at Balochistan secret laboratories.
(7)
7. Fayyazuddin: He took participation in Fast neutron calculations – a key calculation to developed the weapon – and contributed in the calculations in Neutron fluxes. He attended the meeting in which Pakistan decided to develop the atomic weapon.
(8)
8. Muneer Ahmad Rashid : He played a major role in the development of the designing of the atomic bomb, through his calculations on critical mass theory. Also had applied the theories and research in actually detonating the nuclear device.
(9)
9. Samar Mubarakmand : Mubarakmand was assigned to Nuclear Physics Division (NPD) where he immersed himself in work on the physics calculations in the implosion method. Mubarakmand built a linear particle accelerator to conclude solutions in the neutron generator.
(10)
10. Naeem Ahmad Khan : A senior scientist at PAEC, Khan had participated in the development of an atomic bomb throughout the 1970s. He taught and provided the training to Pakistani scientists and engineers in the field of nuclear reactor technology.
(11)
11. Asghar Qadir : As a mathematician,Qadir calculated critical mass and the physics cross section calculations.Continued to develop mathematical models to evaluate critical mass problems to improve the intensity of shock waves, using uranium reflector in a nuclear device.
(12)
12. Muhammad Hafeez Qureshi :Director of PAEC's secretive divisions charged with testings of nuclear materials,he oversaw the work on weapon systems manufacturing and gained expertise on engineering applications of nuclear physics and mechanics in building Nuclear reactors.
(13)
13. Abdul Qadeer Khan : Nuclear physicist and a metallurgical engineer, who founded the uranium enrichment program for Pakistan's atomic bomb project. He is also known for his role in centrifuge designing and various research initiatives at KRL.
(14)
14. Tasneem_M_Shah: He was the founder and had served as the first director of the Computational Fluid Dynamics Division at the KRL & mathematical methods to develop the sustainable method for the gas-centrifuges. Key role in Ghauri Missile system start too.
(15)
15. Iqbal Hussain Qureshi : He was Head of the nuclear chemistry division (NCD) which was responsible for the multi-stage chemical process that separated, concentrated and isolated plutonium from uranium. He played a supervisory role in creation of many labs at NCD.
(16)
16. Ghulam Dastagir Alam: Alam is best known for conceiving and embarking the research on gas centrifuge project during Pakistan's integrated atomic bomb project working on electromagnetic isotope separation.
(17)
There are hundreds more but not all can be listed, hardest part was choosing which ones to feature because there are so many. Thanks to their decades of research and hardwork which made Pakistan a Nuclear power.
