Thing about these Giants is that you know they're going to score six runs during every home night game. It's what they do on the other side of the ball that makes the difference.
You thought I was making a joke. Not on Twitter, my friends. This is no place for jokes.
Look, I'm just trying to tell you how baseball works. Take it or leave it, it's just information.
Baseball is a simple game. All you have to do is open your mind! I'm giving you its secrets!
There are no mysteries in baseball. The Giants are going to score six runs for every home game. It will happen until the end of time. There’s no way that the well will dry up. This is reality now.
Baseball is about what you can control. It's a conquerable game, like chess, with finite options and events. And one of the things you absolutely know is that the Giants will score six or more runs during every single home night game.
Everybody knew before the season started that this was a six-runs-per-game team, and here we are. It's a foundation they can build on. Seven runs per game is certainly within reach.
I drive a Mercedes. People ask, "How? Are you not a mere baseball writer?" And I smile.

On 6/29, I put $100 on the Giants to score six runs. On 6/30, I took that money and put $200 on the Giants to score six runs. And so on, and so on. Tonight, I made $100,000.

It's free money.
Six runs is the new two runs. People are saying this more and more. I'm used to it. Are you?
They will score them early. They will score them late. They will score them with singles, doubles, triples, and home runs, and they will take advantage of errors.

But they will always score six runs during their home night games. Just like they always have.
