A THREAD for all the Brits out there...
If your colonial history makes you feel guilty or you're made to feel guilty about it-

Remember Turkey has run an empire for TWICE as long as the British. Ottoman turks pushed into South-East Europe, Middle East & North Africa by military force..
They tried to take over Europe but were defeated by European armies at the battle of Vienna.

Massacring more than a million Armenians in a couple of years, Ottoman turks committed the first ACTUAL genocide of the 20th century.
In 1974, Turkey invaded Cyprus, a European nation state, slaughtering Greek Cypriots. The occupation continues till date, despite Turkey being member of NATO and southern portion of Cyprus being a member of the European Union.
You'd hear a lot about Crusades, but do you hear about the Turkish genocide of the Armenian people and its invasion of Cyprus? Or the Mongol invasions of the Middle East?
While Britain is being reminded of its racist colonial past and gaslighted by the Left and the ecosystem it represents, why isn't Turkey made to feel guilty about its barbaric past?

Why shouldn't Turkey apologise for the excesses of the Ottoman empire?
Why is it only the duty of Europe to impose diversity on its land? Why should such diversity not be imposed in Saudi Arabia, Iran or Pakistan?
DO NOT PLAY into the hands of the rotten Left because it stands only for selective outrage and criticism. It is against a fair and just world.

Do not feel guilty at all.
