um, first of all, I& #39;m latino and i know so many people here still using this X to refer to non-binaries that uses neo-pronouns, like "latinX", but this is WRONG. it& #39;s kinda complicated but i try to explain a little bit about it.

in Brazil (where we speak in portuguese), for example, we already stopped using the "x" to includes non-binaries, we& #39;re using the article "E" and the pronouns "elu/delu" (they/them), in spanish is more complicated (in the truth, it& #39;s complicated in all romance languages +
because our languages are gendered and every word is kinda exclusively to male and female, it& #39;s not like english, where i can say "beautiful" and this word isn& #39;t exclusively male or female, it& #39;s & #39;neutral& #39;)

well, we have to also point that: this X isn& #39;t good for some neurodivergents and people that uses screen reader (probably people with visions problems), this X is also bad if we gonna include non-binaries in real life and in our grammar, because we cant pronounce this X,

i think it& #39;s better than "ellx" that have no pronounce :(

what about neutral? if we use neutral it would be easier, an example is:
male: el es bonito
female: ella es bonita
neutral: elle es bonite
translation: he/she/they is/are beautiful

that is an umbrella term, where exists binary and non-binary, here an illustration:
well, after knowing about this, you should also know that these people (non-binaries) don& #39;t feel comfortable with this female-male-only language, and they want any pronoun/article to identify themselves, and that& #39;s why we want to change the language.

i know it can takes years, but i hope some day we can change the language and include everyone!!
