I follow Advaita Vedanta, a truth I understood before I was introduced to Sanatan Dharma & Hinduism. At the same time I have immense love & devotion to all of the Gods/Goddesses as I understand they are all a part it. They are all guiding us. Their words invaluable to humanity.
This is a true and amazing beauty of the pluralistic nature of Sanatan Dharma. There are many paths to the same truth and people are drawn to different Gods/Goddesses or paths they identify with personally. They speak to all of us, but we identify with some personally.
We’re the same, but on this path we're all different. We come from different backgrounds/experiences in the global community of humanity, yet we all eventually come to ultimate truth through these many paths, some in youth, others later, some unfortunately do not see until death.
In Hinduism some are drawn to Krishna, others Shiva, Vishnu, Ram, Ganesha & many more. Some walk a different path in Dharmic tradition. Buddhists, Jains & Sikhs, all beautiful & worthy paths. In the end the goal is the same, people discover who they are & humanity evolves.
So to all Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, Astika, Nastika or Loka, recognize the beauty of what your ancestors brought forward for you. You are the Dharmic family and you are wholly unique on earth in your spirituality & philosophy. Embrace the whole family.
Many on our planet, men and women from all nations, all walks of life, all ages, have seen the truth contained in the Vedas & Gita or the path of the Bhudda or Jainism or the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib. We are here even if we are not all speaking up yet.
For all in the Dharmic family, recognize your history's been tampered with & whitewashed for political & religious purposes throughout history. There are those with vested interests in destroying Dharmic faiths on this planet. They worked to narrate & whitewash your history.
We must, all in the Dharmic family, put aside our differences. We must recognize that the philosophy & spirituality we all follow stems from the same root source. That root source unfolded beautifully like a flower to the many paths we have before us. I’m eternally grateful.
Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, all Dharmics, walk lightly, deal kindly & with love in dealing with your Dharmic brothers & sisters, especially as you piece together your history, with differences in philosophy & spirituality. As you try to recover from the historic wrongs done.
Remember, it is our differences in approach that make the Sanatan Dharma family the amazing thing it is. This amazing flower of many paths, yet all seeking the same for humanity, our planet & individually, all coming from the same root.
We are in an age of adharma both politically & religiously. Enough damage has been done to the Dharmic family. We must stand strong together in the face of the real problem of Christianity & Islam who are both endlessly targeting our faiths seeking to end them.
I wish you all the very best in these trying times and send love to all.
Jai Shri Krishna🙏🕉️
