. @Michael5SOS you need to apologize for this. it is not only hurtful to the person affected but to my community as well. your words DO matter, whether you realize it or not.

. @Michael5SOS at the very least, please delete this post and the tweet that goes with it. it made us feel as if you were completely mocking the situation rather than being sensitive to the impact.

even though this wasn't my experience, it still hurts to see. i know michael HAS done positive things for our community, and i won't negate those, but it is still disrespectful for him to make the post.

this is @wilsonxcassie's story, by the way. i am so proud of her for speaking out about it.

update: there are two more people with stories similar to this one. one person is not comfortable with coming forward, but i'm waiting to hear back from a friend of mine.

this thread is NOT to cancel 5sos or make them seem like they are bad people. i KNOW their intentions are pure, but i also know that they would rather be educated than hurt someone. EVERYONE can learn from this. keep that in mind before you attack me.

also, please don’t use the other boys’ situations to take away from michael’s. i called him out first because the post made his situation worse whether it is related or not. thanks. (-:
