BU is the alternate universe created by BTS that appears in many of their music videos and is part of their songs as well as albums in the form of HYYH notes. This story was revealed from I NEED U but the BU story actually starts even way before it.

2. NJ grew up in poverty and had to work from a very early age to run his household by himself as his father fell sick & mother lost her job. He went to school and then worked to distribute fliers. He considered 'poverty' a sin.

3. Yoongi loved playing the piano but his mother was a perfectionist & he didn't like it. YG loved his mother as she supported him making music but his family hated it. On Sep 19 Year 16, his house had caught on fire but he realised his mother was inside too late.

4. HS has trauma associated with counting and passes out on counting as it reminds him when at an amusement park, his mother had handed him a chocolate bar and asked him to count to 10 & never came back. He grew up in an orphanage.

TAEHYUNG'S PAST
5. TH's drunk father beats him and his elder sister up since a very young age to take out his built up anger (prob due to TH's mother). His sister does her best to protect Taehyung from him. Taehyung hates it that he is so helpless.

JIMIN'S PAST
6. On Apr 6 Year 11, Jimin was at the Grass Flower Arboretum for a school picnic. It started raining, he got lost & hurt his leg. He found the back gate of the arboretum & went into the warehouse. Nobody knows what happened here, but he got a very severe trauma +

+ that ended up him getting seizures from time to time (It's my personal theory he has epileptic seizures). His parents would change schools to protect their reputation whenever JM got a seizure. Hoseok saw JM getting a seizure later on.

During the summer, the boys debated where to go to hang out when Taehyung suggested they go to that place in the signpost: Grass Flower Arboretum. Yoongi said they should to go to the sea instead. YG noticed Jimin froze and turned ashen on seeing the sign.

The boys went to the beach and just ran around and had fun. Then they decided to shout out their wishes to the sea from a rock (it's said dreams come true if you do that). Yoongi says he doesn't have a dream as it's too tough to have one & he asks JK +

over the sound of the machine. Jin takes a photo as a memory and writes June 12 on its back. JK asks if he can keep the photo. SJ gives it to him and tells JK that his wish will come true. When JK asks what dream JK had shouted earlier as he didn't know, SJ only pats his back.

TH saw as NJ overhearing Seokjin talking to the principal alone in the classroom on call. SJ told the principal everything about what Yoongi & TH were upto: missing classes, getting into fights, etc. SJ opened the door to see NJ (TH was hidden) +

Namjoon's family decided to run away as his part-time job at the gas station couldn't cover the bills. NJ wrote "I must survive" on a paper and kept it. He blew on the store room window & wrote a wish of 3 words: "See you again" before he left.

EXPULSION
Yoongi was playing the piano & Jungkook had lied down, listening to the YG play. Suddenly a teacher burst in & slapped JK (the teacher has found the hideout). YG put himself between the teacher & JK to protect JK.
It resulted in expulsion of Yoongi from the school.

YG had a burnt piano key taken from the remains of his mom's room. YG thinks he'll be thrown out of the house when his dad finds out he got expelled. YG threw the burnt piano key out the window & decided he'll never play the piano again.

SJ hurried to leave the school even though HS & JM greeted him. SJ led to YG being expelled as due to pressure, he blurted about the hideout to the principal not knowing YG & JK were there at the time. No one knew what he did but SJ believed he ruined all their memories.

HS told Jimin's mom about how he took JM to the emergency room when he had a seizure. She thanked him coldly & hinted at dismissal to HS after saying thank you again, putting a quick hand on his shoulder. HS understood her action & didn't go ahead with JM

IMPORTANT NOTE: This was the last time Hoseok saw Jimin until later in Year 22, when Hoseok got admitted to the same hospital where Jimin was.

'I MUST SURVIVE'→ I'll tell you here how everyone was surviving after SJ went to the US until Year 22 in a very super short manner for each member since the story is too long. You can read in details in The Notes 1 book or the references I mention!
NOTE: There's a huge gap in the Notes 1 that don't cover some events that took place in Year 21. Though there are 2-3 notes cover in the LY album HYYH notes, there's nothing huge that occurred.

so there was a lot of competition.. but in the winters, despite the competition, the delivery was risky (borderline dangerous) due to the snow storms over the narrow mountainous roads. As NJ had to earn money no matter what to help his father, he'd take the risk. +
There was another guy who was wretchedly poor named either Jongsik or Jonghun who looked like Yoongi, but reminded Namjoon of Taehyung. He was NJ's only competition in the winter.

It happened while the boy was returning from a delivery the last day. His body was lying for 3 hours on the road until someone found him. He had accidentally slipped due to calcium chloride on the snow that NJ had put two days before so the road wouldn't be snowy.

UNCONTROLLABLE TIME TURNING POWERSWe have seen Seokjin get the powers or seal the deal with whoever is the on holding the fate several times.
SJ obviously didn't know it's a trap and just agreed thinking he'll be able to save the 6.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SEOKJIN FAILS TO SAVE SOMEONE IN A LOOP?A: THINGS START TO CRACK!
Only Seokjin hears, sees, and feels these cracks. You can see these cracks everywhere, especially Blood, Sweat and Tears MV (both KOR and JPN ver) and SAVE ME webtoon and more.
After the deal was sealed, Seokjin wasn't aware that had already lived upto May Year 22 and then he woke up on April 11 again.
It seemed like the first time to him. It took several tries, he had to see JK's death twice or thrice until he finally realised he's in a time loop.
