This video (below) is allegedly from alt-right conspiracy group "Project Veritas," though they don't appear to have released anything publicly.

The actual content has been verified as fake.

We know how tempting it is to pile on to this sort of content in hopes that it's true, but the video above has too many red flags: tone, enunciation, vernacular and it was already announced to be fake.

With today's technology it's easy to create fake video, audio, pictures, screenshots -- you name it.

All it takes is the right software and some determination and you can have practically anyone appearing to say whatever is desired.

In the information age we find ourselves in now, one thing is for certain: not all information is created equal.

There are a lot of resources available specifically for creating fakes of all variety of media.

So put on your critical thinking cap and stay skeptical.
