This observation makes me want to zoom back out to reality and think of the vocabulary and grammar society provides us to express the story of our lives, and in particular how social technologies like the LLC and the lawsuit can be seen as words that can be easily used.
Games as constructed realities feel like a generative lens here to get out of our inherited sense that the society and culture we live in is immutable.
Wondering about the irl grand theft auto effect: what complex actions of the world have been abstracted into simple invocations or even button presses? And which ones materially harm the world, like an abstracted “carjacking” action? Which ones am I pressing accidentally?
