So, let’s just see what we know so far. Please add to the list of I’ve missed something.

-COVID is less deadly to those under 65 than the flu
-The country with the best results in fighting the virus, Sweden, did almost nothing. No lockdowns. No masks.
\\1
-Masks may have a marginal affect in reducing transmission from the mask wearer
-Masks are just as likely to harm the wearer due to repeated use and uncleanliness
-children do not pass the virus to each other or to adults
-the virus does not live on surfaces
\\2
-testing is unreliable as false positives are quite common
-even with extensive testing, countries with heavy testing methodologies do not appear to fairing any better than countries with no testing
-lockdowns, without exception, have proven to be only a temporary solution
\\3
-suicides among children not allowed back in school outnumber COVID deaths in children
-hospitals have not been overrun
-ICU’s have not been overrun
-many, if not most, of those infected are completely asymptomatic
-ventilators are actually harmful in the treatment of COVID
\\4
-the prevalence of antibodies in many people seems to indicate the virus has been in the US as early as September 2019
-if you eliminate NY and NJ, the mortality rate of COVID as a whole is actually lower than that of the common flu
\\5
-the most effective way to stop the spread appears to be washing your hands and not touching your face
-the economic devastation of the lockdowns is likely to be measured in the trillions of dollars
-more than 50% of companies that had to shutdown will stay closed permanently
\\6
-the number of deaths from an economic depression are likely to be more than double that of COVID
-COVID deaths are, by most accounts, being overcounted for a variety of reasons
-even among elderly, the virus isn’t particularly deadly unless you are obese or have heart disease
\\7
-in every instance, cases rise after lockdowns are ended, while deaths remain relatively static
