Mitch McConnell is worried that $600/week is too much $$ & therefore a disincentive for people to go back to work. Maybe that's b/c it's closer to a living wage than minimum wage is. Ironically, I'll bet @senatemajldr would not even consider accepting a job for a mere $600/week.

As proof of his lack of integrity, I offer the fact that @senatemajldr received approx $18K in pay throughout the most recent govt shutdown when Congress couldn't bring themselves to pass a budget. And on top of that, they required TSA to work with out pay during the same period.

As an independent candidate for POTUS I support the establishment of a living wage.
