appearance of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Jabeer ibn Samura RA said,

“I saw the Prophet (PBUH) one moonlit night," (a night when moon was bright)
"so I looked at the moon and looked at the Prophet (PBUH).
And, by Allah, I thought the Prophet (PBUH) looked more handsome than the moon”

-Ad-Darami and Al-Bayhaqi.
Jabir ibn Samra RA said,

“The face of the Prophet (PBUH) was round like the sun and moon”

-Muslim

In fact, it was not totally circular but slightly oval.
Ar-Rabee’a bint Ma’outh said,

“If you saw the the Prophet (PBUH), you would say that the sun had risen”

-Ad-Darami, Al-Bayhaqi and At-Tabarani.
The Prophet (PBUH) had

“A large head”

-Ahmed

which is a sign of intelligence.

As for his temples,
The Prophet (PBUH) had

“broad temples”

-Al-Bayhaqi and Al-Bazaar.
Hind ibn Abu Halah RA said,

“The Prophet (PBUH) had long eyebrows which were thick but did not meet in the middle of the forehead. Between the eyebrows was a vein that became clear when he was angry”

-At-Tabarani and At-Tirmidhi in Ash-Shama’il.
The Prophet (PBUH) had

“big eyes”,
(wide eyes, which are a sign of beauty)

“with long outlines”
(edge of the eye from where the eyelashes grow)

“and the eyes were slightly red”
(thin, red veins)
“If you looked at him, you would say he has used kohl (surma) in his eyes although he had not used kohl”

-Tirmidhi
The Prophet (PBUH) had

“…the best of noses”

-Ibn ‘Asakir

it was long and slightly raised in the middle and the tip of it was slender
The Prophet (PBUH) had a

“…broad mouth”

-Muslim

i.e. not a very small mouth, with white, glittering teeth that had gaps between them,
which the Arabs think is a praiseworthy feature in men
Anas ibn Malik RA described the Prophet’s complexion, saying,

“The colour of his complexion was shining, not pallid nor dark”

-Al-Bukhari
K’ab ibn Malik RA stated,

“When the Prophet (PBUH) was pleased, his face used to shine with so much light that [one would think] it was part of the moon. And he used to be known for this (his radiant smile)”

-Al-Bukhari
His hair was wavy,

“he did not have tight curls,
or straight hair"

-Al-Bukhari.

The Prophet’s beard was black and thick, as

“his beard had a lot of hair”

-Muslim.
Anas ibn Malik RA said about the Prophet’s beard,

“…[it was] well arranged (not spreading here and there). And he did not have even twenty white hairs on his head or in his beard”

-Al-Bukhari
Al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib RA said,

“The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was medium in height”

(not too tall and not too short, but medium in height)

-Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

He (RA) also said,

“There was a wide space between his shoulders”

(he had broad shoulders)

-Muslim.
The back of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was

“.. like a piece of shining silver”

-Ahmed.

“The seal of prophethood was like a button of a tent between his shoulders”

-Al-Bukhari.

(it was round like a pigeon’s egg)
Anas RA said,

“The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) had fleshy hands;
and I have never seen anything like them since”

-Al-Bukhari

(his hands were soft and short, this means he had a firm grasp)

And they (his feet) had

“thin heels”

(his feet didn't have much flesh on them)

-Ahmed
no one had such a nice smelling scent as the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) had.
If a person walked along a path the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) had recently walked, the person would know that the Messenger of Allah had passed there because of the sweet scent.
Anas ibn Malik RA said,

“No fly touched the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and silk is not softer than his palms.
Furthermore, I have never smelt a nicer scent than the scent of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)”

-Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Anas ibn Malik RA states,

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) entered upon us on a very hot day, and took a nap, during which he perspired much. So Um Sulaym started to catch (gather) the perspiration of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) in a bottle.
The Messenger woke-up and said to her, ‘What are you doing, Um Sulaym?!’
She replied, ‘Oh Messenger of Allah, I am gathering your perspiration, as it smells sweeter than musk
