I hear the TRA want to know why we’re so mad at them. Okay. Women fought our asses off to get what we have today. We couldn’t leave the house. We were property. We couldn’t vote. We couldn’t play sport. We couldn’t have an education. We weren’t taken seriously until very recently
And through relentless fighting and no giving up, women are now almost completely equal to men. We vote. We play sport. We can run a business. We can be managers. We can get into the highest education. We can be in power. We got our own spaces. We are not property.
We fought long and hard for these, and fought even harder to be taken seriously. Finally, we managed. And now, these males are swooping in and taking the positions we worked for centuries to get when you’ve always had access to them.
You’re taking women’s places in sports teams, in management, in government and parliament, in campaigns, you’re counting into our crime rates but your victim rates are separated. And you won’t even let us have our fucking changing rooms and toilets because it upsets you.
Well guess what? You’re destroying the lives of young women everywhere who always have to work our asses off 3x harder than men. How long until we can’t enter women’s fields because it’s transphobic? How long until we are second class citizens once again?
You are taking our hard work as your own and taking the reward. You talk about TW being killed but refuse to acknowledge the tens to hundreds of murders of women daily. Either from males or just for being women. You speak of being scared of men. But those don’t matter, do they?
