Is Nurse Park Mrs. Ko’s sister?

A thread.

Calculative mastermind vs Impulsive rager

“Oh My Darling Clementine” was the song Mrs. Ko sang to Ko Moon Young. Based memories of KMY, Mrs. Ko was presumably thrown in the water after the basement incident.
Coincidentally, the song is in the perspective of the lover who saw how Clementine died: she tripped and drowned. In the song it was believed to be based on, Clementine’s ghost is also present, just as KMY and Mr. Ko mentioned how Mrs. Ko is dead, but alive.
But one small detail is at the end of the song:
Notice that a little sister is mentioned. Not all versions have this part of the song but Traditional has this. And also in relation to the next line, who is at the OK Psychiatric Hospital for dementia (forgetfulness, impairment of other thinking abilities, etc.)?

Yes, Mr. Ko.
On the other hand, again, another literary reference has a sister. Who?

Yep, it’s the Witch of the West, mentioned in the title of Mrs. Ko’s post-humous work.
The Wizard of Oz vs Disney version descriptions
Note: manipulative, impatient, hot-tempered, fiery hatred.

Just like who? Mrs. Ko. Manipulative and quick to anger, she immediately grabs the hair of both KMY and Sang Tae when they don’t answer immediately. She also has quick fits of rage, resolving to murder.
The Wicked Witch of the West has an older sister: the Wicked Witch of the East.
At the start of The Wizard of Oz, the Witch of the East was killed when Dorothy’s house crushed her. In Disney’s version, she wasn’t killed. She manipulated behind the scenes and even killed her father to attain power. She was described as such:
Note: intensely calm, manipulative, cunning and deceptive.

Nurse Park has been playing in the scenes since Ep1 — purposely making Ju-ri visit KMY to sign the papers, making KMY as literature teacher in exchange of walking his father.
There’s a high chance that she’s behind Park Ok-Ran’s disappearance after completing her role. As the words of the director, “she knows everything.” She appears to be a nurse, but what’s behind that is a manipulative woman, pulling the strings for our MLs to relive their traumas.
Also notice how close their names are, Haeng-Ja (Nurse Park) and Hee-Jae (Mrs. Ko). Same initials, almost the same pronunciation.
Based on that, if “The Murder of the Witch of the West” was based on Mrs. Ko’s life story, she — personality-wise — is the Witch of the West and our calculating and manipulative Witch of the East is Nurse Park.
How else would the post-humous work be published when KMY was only 12 when she “died” and Mr. Ko went mentally ill after what happened, right? And who saved Ko Moon Young after Mr. Ko’s attempt in killing her after killing his wife? Well, probably the Witch of the East.
What’s her goal? The only thing that comes in my mind is that her sister’s killing has a witness: Sang Tae; her sister’s murderer is still alive: Mr. Ko; and that her sister’s greatest work is about to fall in love: Moon Young. Maybe she’s working bts to put everything in place.
Oh, I forgot to mention. In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy got the Silver Shoes from the Witch of East. Episode 2 is entitled “The Lady in Red Shoes” based off Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale, but who else has red shoes?
Dorothy Gale from The Wizard of Oz. Originally silver, the color of the shoes was changed to red shoes or ruby slippers to take advantage of the new Technicolor film process.
In Episode 2, who was the lady in red shoes?

Ko Moon Young.

I forgot to mention again. Wicked Witch of the West’s purpose: to seek revenge for her sister’s death.

Maybe the writer tweaked it a little bit, but the sister thing is really a minor clue that can be overlooked.
I won’t be shocked if one of the episodes will be entitled relating to a fairytale about sisters. Lol

In another note, if Mrs. Ko only has a fiery temper but does not have the guts to kill, whereas Nurse Park is calculative, calm and can kill, then Mrs. Moon’s murderer may be Nurse Park, which accurately explains why the stab wound was precisely on the jugular vein.
They may have similar features and a brooch can easily be borrowed or if really close, they may have one each. (Instead of mother-daughter, it’s older sister-little sister butterflies).

But really this is just me and my hopes that the MLs are not star crossed lovers.
With this misunderstanding, this would also explain why Bluebeard(Mr. Ko) killed his wife (just like in Othello as Park Ok-Ran said), thinking that she’s the monster when in fact, Nurse Park is the greater monster here.
Also note that there are two white butterflies hovering above the rose (which possibly represents KMY and Kang Tae’s love). One is pure white and the other one has a black tips.
If the all white butterfly that hovers around Paper KMY, is Mrs. Ko’s soul. Then...
This white butterfly that may represent Nurse Park brings us death/murder. (Also, say hello to the drawing of the witch at the back)

Another detail to take notice. In another literary reference, who has another sister?

Not Bluebeard, but his wife, Fatima.
Fatima has two other sisters, but in the fairytale, one sister was mentioned, Anne.

Of course, there are other versions. The wife was called Judith, Boulotte, and Jeanne de Lespoisse, etc.
When Bluebeard handed Fatima the keys to the basement, she wanted to show Anne and the other wives what’s inside.

Some references have the latest wife as Anne. In fact, in the short Bluebeard scene in #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay, Anne or Anna was also there, but she was portrayed by Ju-ri’s mother.
Something was not supposed to be seen was discovered in the basement and Bluebeard found out about it, wanting to kill Fatima (let’s stick with her to avoid confusion). But Fatima had one request, to say a little prayer with Anne.
But as he was about to kill her, Anne and their brothers killed Bluebeard.

It’s like a foreshadowing again, that a sister is taking revenge for her sister.
With this ref, Bluebeard is Mr. Ko; his wife, Fatima, is Mrs. Ko & if she would have a sister who has the guts to kill (as previously mentioned), that would lead us to Nurse Park, who loves horror and cruel love stories(like the story of Bluebeard). Note how fast she says no.
One last thing (I think) about witches, episode 3 is entitled, “Sleeping Witch”. If you have noticed, the titles of each episode has a corresponding fairytale. However, episode 3 doesn’t make sense, because the fairytale narrated is Sleeping Beauty, not Sleeping Witch.
To correlate with the previous theories, the witch here, of course, is pretty obvious. Mrs. Ko, who is haunting our Sleeping beauty here.
But what if, there’s another Sleeping Witch? Sleeping because she’s been dormant for the past few years, carefully plotting her plans, and finally, all the cards she’s about to play are laid out in front of her. #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay #PsychoButItsOkay
Update: OK guys, I think we’re on to something when @sarireni shared this to me. I predicted that an episode will be entitled relating to sisters and here we are. This got me really excited! So I did a little bit of research. #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay https://twitter.com/nightelle_/status/1288553176942010371?s=21 https://twitter.com/nightelle_/status/1288553176942010371
I have another update. I feel like I’m annoying everyone’s TL, but idc I’m enjoying making theories. 😅

Guys, I think we’re on to something. I’m still confused bec of the mirror but thanks to @kathrynaliyah, I think it’s a clue? Brooch on the right (Mrs. Ko =Witch of the East) and the left (Nurse Park =Witch of the West). #ItsOkayNotToBeOkayEp13
Note that the murderer has the brooch on the left, so does that mean that Nurse Park truly did kill Mrs. Moon?

Also, it is common for twins to share the same mental illness.
Theory:
•Mrs. Ko and Nurse Park are sisters/twins who share the same mental illness.
•They believe they are one and the same — they dress the same, own the same things, share the same daughter. That’s why Nurse Park is the “fake mom.” #ItsOkayNotToBeOkayEp13
If you haven’t noticed, the blood formed a butterfly as if hinting that a butterfly died. If we relate it to the sister theory, we could say that one butterfly died, but we still have another butterfly left.

Hello, Nurse Park. 🦋
