Restaurants you should get carry-out from because I am worried about them and they are great, a thread:
Ohio Kabob Grill, Afghani food on West 117, just south of Lorain. Alex says this is the best restaurant in Northeast Ohio. https://ohiokabobgrill.business.site/
Tapatia's Taqueria on 125th & Lorain or Hacienda Tapatia on W 117th (same owners). TBH, Hacienda can be hit or miss depending on the cook. Tap's is a safe bet. Best fish tacos. To-go margaritas in a big cup. https://tapatiastaqueria.com/
Himalyan Restaurant. 131 & Lorain. (Do you see a pattern? Best neighborhood for restaurants). The chicken momo and choila!!! https://www.clevelandhimalayanfood.com/
Taino. Puerto Rican food on Scranton. They post their carry-out menu daily. Roast chicken, beans, and rice, yum-mo!! https://www.facebook.com/tainorest3038/
Guanaquitas Pupuseria. El Salvadorian food. Finally, pupusas within biking distance of my house! They just opened in the last few months. Their FB page is best for info. If you don't know Spanish, just Google translate it, ya bums!! https://www.facebook.com/guanaquitas.pupuseria.1
Back to Midtown/Jefferson area -- YEMEN GATE. Yemeni food, obviously! https://www.yelp.com/biz/yemen-gate-restaurant-cleveland
Kifaya's Kitchen, West 117. Somali cuisine. I feel extremely guilty because I've actually not gotten food from here yet but I know it's good and I will rectify that asap! https://www.yelp.com/biz/kifayas-kitchen-cleveland?osq=african
AlPita in Rocky River. Their food is bomb. I get chicken shawarma over rice with the fattoush. So good. I want it now :( https://www.alpitacuisine.com/
Ferris Shawarma. This is right by La Plaza. Good when you want something a little less healthy. https://www.yelp.com/biz/ferris-shawarma-lakewood
Oops, I said Midtown above but I meant Westown. :( Please add your own if you have other recs and I will keep adding to this list as I think of things!! Maybe I should go off private for this important matter!!!
