THREAD: Story of a #kitten being sexually assaulted by a teenager in #Lahore, which made everyone go crazy on social media (rightly so) - - - IS FAKE.

Let's analyze the source of this story. JFK Animal rescue facility, run by a woman in Lahore who has come up with at least a couple of similar stories in past few months. Two things are common in the stories, teenagers and rape.

She narrated the whole story in the first post like she was there, and claimed in so many clear words that the kitten in the pictures was raped and her genitals were torn open.

The post was to get attention to the case, I'm still not sure if she's just dumb or cunning. But anyways, the wordings were strong and the post went viral. Which she probably didn't anticipate.

Everyone on the social media was talking about it and it was a disturbing thing to read. Let's analyze the evidence that was provided in the video.

This is the picture which she claimed was of the semen that came out of kitten's anus. Now, first of all, even in a human rape case, semen is never recovered in this form. There are always just traces left and they are only taken with a swab and then confirmed through lab tests.

it was claimed this was semen, without any sort of lab test. There was another picture which she claimed was a mixture of semen and blood. As someone who has a cat and has been going to vets since childhood, even I know what this is; post infection serum, a clear sign of abscess.

The poor kitten's backside shows sign of diarrhea and infection.

Now let's talk about the possibility of something like this happening. I know Pakistanis are capable of some pretty fucked up things and I'm sure things like this could happen. But having said that, this story is dodgy, because even with an adult cat,

If something like this was to happen, the blood vessels would burst, internal organs would get damaged and the cat would die in a few minute. This again, was a kitten.

And I am saying this after talking to some senior vets in Lahore who were shared all the videos and pictures with. Not even one of them even said there was a possibility like this of happening. The explanation was an infection. Which takes time to kill the host.

The thing to note here is, that all these things were claimed in the post by the words of a vet too. The vet who's unknown, and no information is shared regarding him. Having said that, no vet is qualified enough to claim this since this is a matter for a forensic expert.

How did that vet come to a conclusion that the fluid was semen? How did he run lab tests in his veterinary clinic? Was there an autopsy, where is the report? Now we don't even have the body.

Let's now analyze the aftermath; I know this for a fact that the public pressure built up to the point where higher ups in the Police got involved, they have tried their best to contact the person behind the page, but she refuses to share the source.

Then we have some live videos with a lot of rona dhona, where we finally get to know that the person who wrote that emotional story on JFK page, was not even there, in fact, she narrated the whole incident after seeing a fb post by someone else.

Then she tries to justify that her source was the guy, whose voice notes she shares. The guy says, his sister got this kitten from their neighbors and saw the condition and just figured out she was raped. So, no witness, it's one person quoting the next.

Worst of all, the one running the page, who narrated it so emotionally that whole social media went crazy, international blogs, including the ones from India have picked up the news and now we don't even have any evidence to back it up.

So, how we all got the case details was the third person in the chain anyway. Now we do not know who the original witness was, where is the body of the cat, which vet was involved. Only one emotionally charged lady on fb who won't accept her mistake and just keeps making it worse

If anyone wants to independently verify this analysis, please just talk to a senior vet in your city and show him the pictures and the videos, and also just think about all the chain of narrations. Nobody knows where it's coming from, nobody knows what's the real source.

And, the animal rescue community of Lahore, in so many words, but discreetly agrees that the case is fake, and nobody is saying it out loud because of the emotionally charged awaam won't listen to anything that goes against the narrative. Everyone is scared of backlash.

Major animal rescue organizations of the country are keeping a distance, and rightly so. These things have implications. One post and the news spread like fire, now, even people like Waqar Zaka, couldn't find the source and got exhausted.

Authorities are ready to take action, there's huge public support and everyone's willing to go extra mile to investigate this, BUT no, no source will be provided, no evidence will come forward and the worst thing is, this will jeopardize the efforts for animal rights in Pakistan.

Oh and yeah, another lie. The bandi behind JFK page claimed that the kitten was actually gang raped, yes you heard it right. But the voice notes she shared, the guy can be heard saying his sister got the kitten from the house which had a male kid ages 13-14 and his younger sis.

Okay, so probably the last tweet of the thread. @tws_pk investigated this case and finally has video testimony of the vet who examined the kitten. Listen to it carefully and judge yourself. I rest my case.

UPDATE: JFK fb page has deleted most of their posts from last 6 days, even the original post with made up story is gone. All of this is done silently without any public apology. #KittenRape

I know I keep coming back to this thread but I promise this is last (I hope so).

JFK page and people behind it have finally been given a 'software update'. This public apology was demanded a week ago and that was the time. Now they have just exposed themselves. I'm not sorry.
