The fear of God is ultimately about operating with a certain reverence for things that are bigger than you and far beyond your comprehension. I see a lot of self proclaimed "healers" and intuitive folks lacking that yet inviting you to be guided by them.
Guided where? It's very wild. But this is what happens when spiritual work is treated like a party trick by people. This is what happens when all it takes is a 🕯️, a 🌻 and a septum piercing for people to decide someone knows what they're doing.
I've personally come to resent the very frilly chakra hun scene thing because it's so deeply reckless and carried by people who want to shirk off the responsibility of discerning and actively looking after their own spiritual well-being.
I'm watching people seek spiritual assistance from others because they want to be associated with them on a social level. To say "So and so did a spell for me" like they cooked them beans for Sunday brunch.
Not only is it dangerous, it is deeply disrespectful to your guides. You cannot begin to fathom the things you're exposing yourself and them to, and neither can these people you consult with bcs they don't know what they're doing and they have no respect/understanding for things.
Someone says "I did this ritual for myself!" and people rush to say "Do for me too!" With no turnaround time and no context.
You people were really letting people who were doing rituals on and around eclipses do workings for you and it is not my mouth that will tell you what will happen, you will see the cost of a cavalier attitude to spiritual matters in your own life.
You will see the cost of wanting to consult with people based on aesthetic. You will see the cost of letting people play with your name and the names of other children you're sending to these people.
No reputable healer does half a thing for themselves, is shocked it worked then runs to offer that as a service. No trustworthy individual, traditionally initiated or personally guided, does that. There's training. Procedure. Time to understand your gifts.
To see for myself does not automatically mean I can clearly see for you. To heal myself is not to heal you. To cut my ties is not to cut yours. You people are playing with things that have been around as long as good and evil have existed because candles are cheap, I see.
You do not even see these people you rush to consult with, with clear discerning eyes. You see them with your worldly eyes that think they're cute and cool and 🕯️🌻. You offer yourselves up to be their spiritual guinea pigs while THEIR lives are clearly in fucking shambles.
How do you let people who don't have their shit together get yours together?
You're actively consulting with people who say they're seers but whole time they have and have had proximity to evil people and they didn't see that shit? That didn't come up? Third eye chakra didn't twitch? How is your seer constantly blindsided?
I've said it before, your Jhene Ayikhonto Witchcraft that's centered around men is dangerous. I hate it with all of me. Horrific things happen to people and their bloodlines. Things that cannot be fixed with "Uncross from Thabo with a lavender candle".
How is someone offering you a ritual without a consultation of any sort and you think that makes sense?
You're angering and isolating your ancestors and spiritual guides as well as other people's because you like someone's faux locs. Keep playing. Godspeed.
Lastly, @HoneyTellAStory spoke about this on Sangoma Society as well. Refer to it. Understand it. The cost to pay for being spiritually lazy and careless is far bigger than the price of a candle and a notebook.
Le tlaa swa, la bo la silela Badimo ba lona mo lehatsheng, messing around like this. Don't say I didn't tell you because you think this is a spicy thread. I'm telling you.
