On Why You Should Add the Jujutsu Kaisen Anime to Your PTW List - Its Appeal and The Team Working On It (spoiler free!)
There's plenty of hype going around JJK right now and I just want to guarantee that it is not for nothing.

If you are still considering whether to watch it or not, I'd like to explain its appeal without giving away too much. -
I think where the series strengths lie is in its character writing. I would like to use Yuji, the protagonist, as an example.

In a way, he is very nuanced. Not exactly book smart but an incredibly fast learner. A bit dense but still empathetic. Unlike most shonen mc, he is not-
defined by his goals. His motivations are not heroic nor extremely ambitious.

He just wants to live a life without regret which is compelling to me since it's hard to achieve when you are suddenly thrust into a world where death is likely. -
The rest of the cast are also well written. They are fully fleshed out and have complex ways of thinking.

The series knows how to focus on its main cast while giving the side characters just enough attention.-
I think the complexity of the character writing can also be related to the series thematic core.

Themes of the uncertainty of life, how our emotions guide us, and the flawed nature of our world.-
Its themes are extremely philosophical but subtle in its execution so if you're just looking for some good action this is it.

With an extremely creative power system, you wouldn't get bored. It has its own limitations and uses the power of our negative emotions as a source.-
JJK is also tightly written in terms of plot. Nothing is wasted, with foreshadowing that is downplayed so you're in for a surprise.

Everything is necessary for the development of the characters/story often demonstrated in its fights.-
If all of these are still not enough to convince you, take a look at the talented staff lineup working on it. -
~Sunghoo Park (Director)~

If you're a fan of shonen or just anime in general you've probably seen his work in GOH this season.

Though I can't speak about the writing, the animation really speaks for itself. -
Usually praised because of its stylish storyboards and solid action, I can't help but feel excited for JJK.

Although proven to be capable already, I think that his talents would be showcased more in this adaptation. - https://www.sakugabooru.com/post?tags=sunghoo_park
~Hiroshi Seko (Script/Series Composition)~

Seko seems to have a knack in writing great action adaptation.

Out of all the series he has written, Vinland Saga and Mob Psycho 100 are among his best works.-
Some would argue that the reason for its success is because of the original work but it takes some skill to adapt something without losing its core themes.

He knows how to write good action but still execute the emotional depth of the work effectively. -
~Tadashi Hiramatsu (Character Design)~

Wow. When he was announced to be part of JJK I couldn't help but feel excited.

He has worked on many great projects before but his work on Parasyte leaves you thinking how perfect he is for this production. -
If you're a fan of seiyuus I'm sure you'd enjoy seeing the parallels between them.

The VA lineup is really talented not only that but we get consistent news on the music and sound production.
I hope this is enough to convince you. The anime will air this upcoming October so please look forward to it!

If you want to get a headstart, please consider reading the manga the current arc right now is amazing.
