Fandom twitter is always so much more chiller place once the Americans are asleep. I believe it's 'cause majority of the 🐜s come from your part of the globe.

I actually have a couple of theories as to why this is:
1. Poor sex education. I don't personally know what you are/aren't taught, but I see people always dissing the quality of it. Not talking about sex openly makes it seem like a shameful, forbidden subject when it should be anything but.
2. Obsessive censoring of women's nudity. Again, a completely natural thing is made to seem like something shameful. Showing men's nipples is okay but women's are not? Censoring anything often just leads to people being more drawn to it 'cause of the 'forbidden-fruit' aspect.
3. Saunas. Some of you have never sat naked in an enclosed space warmed up to 100°C/212ÂșF with family members, friends, or complete strangers, and it shows.
I think all of these matters combined lead to your younger people having some...very worrisome ways of viewing sexuality, especially women's sexuality, like it shouldn't exist and if women dare to have the /audacity/ to talk about sexual topics they get labeled as 'perverts'.
