things that stand out was his ability on the ball(holding the ball under pressure), how he circulates the ball(quick passer/quick in the mind, passing(good vision, always making the vertical passes which break the lines, long passes/short passes), positional awareness

making passes like these is simple for him, almost instinctive...constantly looking to breaks lines, finding gaps between opposition players in search of teammates who drop into the pockets of space, lastly his ability his to play long balls shouldn't be looked past either

under pressure turns away from the opponent and plays a great pass taking 4 players out of the play, makes it look easy, a great deep lying player playing perfect fits a team looking to play out from the back plus 'physicality'

at napoli and now at roma his role make him the furthest player from goal staying in front of the cbs or dropping in between them when needed, excelled at napoli and doing well at roma so far with a similar role

when in possession he is required to help out with the build up phase and find players further up the pitch(his passes tend to start many attacks), dictates the play well...his superior off the ball movement is showcased with how often he is in open space to receive the ball

always an option for the cbs to link up with or moves around dragging opposition players along with him creating passing lanes to players further up the pitch, even when the ball needs to be recycled he is always in the right position making it easy for his teammates

averaged 90% passing accuracy + 95% in own half(16/17), 93% passing accuracy + 96% in own half(17/18), 93% passing accuracy + 97% in own half(18/19), 89% passing accuracy + 92% in own half(19/20)...unreal and dependable

when not in possession he tends to offer the back line support usually sitting in front of them putting pressure on opposing attacking midfielders and once again his positional awareness stands out as he is able to cover passing lanes, his reading of the game is exceptional

covers a lot of ground with relative ease, his physicality plays a big role when his team does not have the ball and also in transition he can be deadly

weakness...i dont think there are any for his position he ticks all the boxes, pnp and technically gifted, overall a baller nothing else needs to be said
