I'm going to make a thread of Atlus-related things that happened on the Nintendo Switch before Persona 5 gets ported, that I will continue to update in the future

Purely because I just think the concept is funny

Just to be clear I'm not an annoying person that spams the BreakFreePersona tag or anything in fact I honestly don't care if it gets ported

I just think it's funny that Atlus has done tons of stuff for the Switch, especially involving Persona, without actually having Persona

Lastly, if you're someone who hasn't played a Persona game that wants to get into the series, any of the games below would be something you should consider trying out

Joker was added to Super Smash Bros Ultimate

He was revealed on December 6th, 2018 and released April 17th, 2019. This includes spirits, Mementos as a stage, and music from Personas 3 4 and 5

Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE was ported from the Wii U

The game released on January 17th, 2020, and is a crossover between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem. There's even a costume of Joker that the main character can wear

Persona 5 Scramble released in Japan on February 20th, 2020

The game is a full blown sequel to P5's story with Musou gameplay, rather than being an RPG

As of now it STILL has not been released in the West and I'm honestly questioning whether that or a P5 port will happen first

Catherine Full Body was ported from PS4

It released on July 2nd, 2020, and is a puzzle/horror game...? It's very weird to describe but extremely good and was worked on by the same people who make Persona

...Joker is also in this game

A remaster of Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne was announced on July 20th, 2020, and will release October 29th of the same year

While I haven't gotten to play it yet it seems to be a fan favorite so it'll probably be great

Right after Nocturne's announcement, new information was shared on Shin Megami Tensei V after nearly 1000 days with nothing other than a teaser

It is releasing sometime in 2021

These next two posts will be out of chronological order because I forgot about them. After these two the rest should continue to be in chronological order

On July 7th, 2020, Shin Megami Tensei 1 was added to the Nintendo Switch Online service in Japan only

Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei was revealed to be DLC for Namcot Collection, releasing in Asia in October 2020

It was revealed on August 11th, 2020, that Dante from the Devil May Cry series will be featured in the Nocturne remaster as paid DLC

Now all he needs to do is be paid DLC in a certain other Nintendo game...
