Black women call anyone showing interest in them fetishization because they’ve internalized years of degradation and truly can’t understand why anyone would pick them when there are other women available. It’s actually one of the saddest things to witness on this application.
A man says he likes your hair and because you’ve been called nappy/ bald headed, humiliated for your natural hair and teased for your wigs/weaves you’re suddenly triggered. he’s lying. You don’t even like your own hair so how could he ?
You’re in a party full of non black women and he’s approached you so he’s clearly not after the most attractive person in the party you know how the hierarchy works and it isn’t you. He must be after some stereotype right. What else could it be ?
A black man saying he approached you because of a fat a*s is perfectly acceptable because that’s your best trait anyways but others seeing you as a unique beauty is where you draw the line because you don’t even consider yourself all that special why is lying for right ??
I want you to really ask yourself why someone thinking you’re beautiful and thinking your skin tone and hair is unique and different from what their use to is such a bad thing but dating a man who thinks you’re regular smegular and lusting after others is fine.
All men are lustful liar tbh. I have no belief that one demographic is inherently better partners then others. Date who you want. I just want to discuss this weird projection you all seem to have where you legitimately believe any non black man interest in you is nefarious.
Also understand *some* black men have a vested interest in you believing this about yourself. They will date out and about and be assured that you are in the wings waiting should they ever need a backup plan because they are the only ones who can love you right ?
