I was asked to include this information for those who may not know how to initiate the alt texting feature on twitter.

You can also opt for simply including the alt text above the image or in the tweet dorectly after.
Adding: This is also why we ask people to not make meme images out of symbols & emojis, it's better to just screenshot it & caption what the image is.
