1/ “What the HECK is happening to all these Iranian targets in Iran, Syria, & now Iraq?” - a thread by Jake Novak...
2/ Over the last 6 weeks or so, more than a dozen key Iranian sites and Iranian-backed militia sites have been bombed, set on fire, or otherwise sabotaged. This includes Iran’s nuclear HQ & its top missile development site...
3/ Supposedly civilian sites like a petrochemical plant & a shipyard have also been hit...
4/ In Syria, successful attacks on Iranian-backed Hezbollah sites, manned by some Iranian officers have also increased...
5/ Late last week an Iranian passenger jet was buzzed by a US F-15 fighter & forced to drop altitude abruptly in an incident originally blamed on an Israeli fighter jet
6/ And earlier today, massive explosions occurred at Iranian-backed militia bases near Baghdad
7/ Let’s just pause here to say that if this is the first you’re hearing of these incidents, you SERIOUSLY need to expand & change where you get your news
8/ But why is this happening now & what’s the message here?
9/ The answer, based on my sources, is there are at least two key military leaders in Iran who have turned against the regime. They are supplying the U.S. & Israel access to source code for cyberattacks & info on the movements of other commanders...
10/ For example, the U.S. likely buzzed that Iranian passenger flight as a warning to Iran that it knew at least one top Iranian military official was on that plane among the civilians...
11/ The message to Iran from this is the U.S. & Israel now know where all the top weapons & commanders are hiding. There are essentially no Iranian secret ops anymore. And whenever possible, the U.S. & Israel will “deactivate” those targets with several means at their disposal
