remember when they were in the waiting room and changsub randomly said to sungjae “you actually love me even though you pretend that you don’t. i can see it through your heart. am i not right?” and sungjae pretended to not hear him by playing with his phone
yeah sungjae pretended not to hear what his hyung said but i believe sungjae just didn’t want to admit in front of the camera and we all know sungjae loves his changsub hyung so much, it’s just that he’s bad at expressing through words
and then during changsub’s solo japan promotions, sungjae LITERALLY flew all the way to japan just to support changsub. changsub even said “sungjae came and it feels like i’m working again”, i bet you if changsub was somewhere further than japan, sungjae would still fly to him
sungjae takes care of his changsub hyung very well, changsub once offered himself to visit sungjae at the set of goblin but sungjae told him not to come because he was afraid that he couldn’t entertain changsub during the shooting. what he told us in the beatcom was different +
but i’m sure sungjae thought something like “if changsub came, he’d be standing alone since he doesn’t know anyone here. he’d get lonely and i feel bad” but of course he doesn’t want to show that in front of a rolling camera
both of them are not good at expressing their emotions for each other and they don’t want to feel awkward so that’s why they bicker a lot. i mean come on, all siblings fight, no?
AND OF COURSE the late night random text told us about. changsub said “eong-ah will take care of you forever” to sungjae out of a sudden?? til this day it got me curios what the hell was he thinking that night and what made him randomly text sungjae like that

anyway, was it because of enlistment? probably yes. was he drunk? probably yes. we never know but to know that someone like changsub got your back no matter what and will take care of you is so heart warming. changsub was probably too embarrassed so he simply said +
“good night sleep well” to sungjae because he doesn’t want to deal with the awkwardness. sungjae relies a lot on changsub and i bet with my soul that he’d get all sad and a little whiney the day of changsub’s discharge because the truth is he doesn’t want to be left alone
i wish changjae nothing but happiness, health and ever lasting strength to face their daily duties in the military. i miss them so much
