I grew up in Cong. Rinat Yisrael, which was clearly one of the most formative influences on my life.

Rabbi Yosef Adler fostered an atmosphere that was deeply focused on serious Torah study and Shemiras Hamitzvos and simultaneously was broad-minded, thoughtful, and down to earth.
It is no wonder that the Shul's been home to-and produced-so many Jewish leaders, professional & lay, over the years.
With Rabbi Adler announcing a process where he will move into a role of Rabbi Emeritus over the next year or 2, I'm unable to fathom a Rinat w/o him at the helm.
I am certain there will be many thank yous and tributes going forward, but for now one line in Chazal seems particularly apt:

אשרי מי שגדל בתורה ועמלו בתורה ועושה נחת רוח ליוצרו, וגדל בשם טוב
