it's ridiculous to me. yuta said he had been close with him, LATELY. as in, they likely only just started talking and yuta likely hit it off with him bc they are both japanese. and if you followed yuta, you'd know how much he wishes and longs to have japanese friends

there was literally that time when he said he wishes he had someone to do japanese part with and doyoung said that yuta has him and comforted him. look at how takuya just tonight talks about yuta, wanting to go to his house so much, and he doesn't understand why

yuta is the ONLY japanese member in nct, and the ONLY japanese idol in sm. you don't think he misses his culture? his language? connecting with people over things from his childhood, experiences they'd share growing up in the same country, cultural? he has no one else close
