some mutuals unfollowed/blocked me recently and i understand the reason so maybe i will clarify some things in a boring long thread bc i don’t have anything better to do atm than giving people the reason to “cancel” me and i feel like absolute shit anyway

there are some people who i don’t like on this app - it’s perfectly normal and it’s not those people’s problem, it’s mine. im responsible for my interactions, so i usually just click “mute” and simply don’t interact with them and no one gets hurt or sad or offended
to be 100% clear: i don’t like several people on both sides of the fandom discourse we all see on tl and this opinion was formed only based on the actions and words of those people i witnessed u know, not even regarding the damn discourse, just in general

tbh i still don’t understand the way most twt users speak or interact and i can’t keep up with slang or attitudes or twitter culture in general it’s all very strange and unusual to me yes im annoying and cringy like that forgive me
bc of that sometimes when i see how some people here use very serious words that carry a lot of meaning, in a very easy and like “haha i just make fun of u” way, it makes me heavily uncomfortable and i try to distance myself
specifically one thing that keeps being mentioned by both sides of the discourse have seriously affected and fucked up me directly and seeing some people talk about it just like that, to joke or annoy someone, triggers me a lot, im sorry, i softblocked/muted some accs bc of it
to be honest i don’t trust my english enough and i don’t think im educated on the matter enough to properly discuss these things. so anything ill have to say would be just my personal experience and i don’t want to share it.

returning to the reason behind this thread: i love all my mutuals as of now, i will continue to interact with any person i want and who i find nice/interesting and i won’t judge someone’s character based on the emojis in their dn or on some joke they’re made or on what they ship
if this position makes some of my mutuals uncomfortable: i completely understand and u absolutely can mute or unfollow or block me, like some already did. it’s okay !! do what’s good for u, the last thing i want is to make anyone feel bad
