In 2015, a friend of mine @gabriel_nwodo graduated from the Faculty of Law, Enugu State University (ESUT) with a First Class Honors.

Gab with a CGPA of 4.81/50 (highest in the history of the University) emerged the Faculty and the University's BGS.

At the 17th Convocation ceremony of the University which held on December 10, 2016, Gab was the Valedictorian and delivered the Valedictorian speech on behalf of over 4000 students that make up the ESUT Class of 2015.

The convocation ceremony had in attendance His Excellency, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyị, the Excutive Governor of Enugu Statate as he was conferred with an honorary doctorate degree on that said day.

To Gab, one of the highlights of the event aside being the Valedictorian was when His Excellency, Gov. Ugwuanyị announced that the State Government will place him on a scholarship for his Masters degree in any University of his choice around the world.

Recently, Gab got admitted into University of Cambridge for his Master of Laws (LL.M) program and since he wasn't successful in his iChevening Scholarship application has reached out to Enugu State Government to redeem their promise of sponsoring his Masters degree program.

He has written letters and sent messages to the Governor, none of which was acknowledged nor replied.

Recently, he contacted the SSG Enugu State, Prof. Simon Ortuanya who also happened to be one of his lecturers at the Faculty of Law ESUT to help him prevail on the Governor.

Prof. Ortuanya suggested that he should go through the State's Scholarship Board and ask him to contact the Head of the Board whom he gave him his contact.

Gab contacted the Head of the Scholarship Board, who asked him to submit his credentials. He had since submitted all the necessary required documents needed to process his scholarship but the Board never got back to him.
