Because this is their MO. There’s a lot of new protesters out that don’t know what boogaloos are, don’t know how to ID White supremacists, don’t know security culture, etc. But I also know, the interference of these groups is happening nationally. Know them when you see them:

So what does this all mean? Know who you’re marching with at all times. Stick with your buddies when you march. Don’t leave everyone behind. Don’t be paranoid, but also don’t assume that everyone is with the cause.

I believe that we will win. We will do it alongside those activists and organizers and laypeople that have been in the streets, the courts, in the General Assembly, in city council & school board meetings and in our communities. It won’t be the false prophets that get us there.
Do not be deterred on the path to justice y’all. Stay alert & hopeful. I’ll be right there to support as best I can, as I’ve done for years before this. Remember:
