What's the net advantage of NGOs to the Nigerian Society?
Some NGOs work in the sexual abuse space and have had report forms on their website for a few years.
It would be in the interest of the public to share comprehensive statistics of reports they have received over time.
The NHRC website has a dashboard in this regard.
There have been only 2 rape cases reported and only 1 sexual assault case reported in 2020.

There have been a total number of only 62 reported cases of human rights violations across Nigeria in 2020.

Of these only 12 cases were "escalated" representing just 19%.

Of these, just 6 cases have been resolved representing only 10% of total cases reported.

Which other NGO can provide comprehensive data with regards to the reports of abuse and rights violations that they have received?
STER has a webpage for reporting abuses. However, the figures are not public. https://standtoendrape.org/report-abuse/
SIAF has a section to report abuse/violations. There are figures of expenses, and cases resolved.
At the time of this thread, there were 5 cases of Police impunity resolved and 2 others pending.

Some other websites of certain NGOs and popular personalities are neither official nor protected. Some have other issues like incomplete sections.
These issues have a way of eroding trust. They should be worked on.
