Omar Warraich's article on Virk is amusing in how Pakistan's English-speaking elite views itself, & their detractors. Us vs them mentality completely blinds him to their own support for drones, mil. ops, US imperialism in Afg & even their own abusive trolls like Bukhari, Goraya.

The utter disdain for anyone even one inch different from their strongly-held views, the dehumanization of their 'untroll' opponents & most importantly the (undemocratic) imposition in some form of their views on this populace are things he is completely oblivious to.

No love lost for Virk ofc, or any of the scum that dirties the discourse, but Warraich's 'well-spoken' self-anointed progressives who used to enjoy Twitter's echo chamber should learn to do some introspection. Learn to prove your point beyond 'its 2020' & 'whole world does it'.
