My heart goes out to everyone affected by the @globalnews layoffs, both those who were let go & those who are left. I'm sad & frustrated by the lack of support for "lifestyle" coverage in this country — ie, the lack of energy, foresight & innovation on a business level.

I was continually impressed by the work from Global's lifestyle team. From the outside, the group seemed to really support and like each other. Creating a workplace where women and BIPOC employees can produce excellent work in a supportive environment is no small thing.
