I don& #39;t know whether its the same for everyone on Youtube but having a channel kinda makes your life better to a degree. (I know there are demerits as well). But I have learned a lot from being on YT even as a niche channel

- It gives you discipline.
- You get courageous (vlogging)
- You learn how to tell stories
- You learn how to speak
- You learn how to edit videos and photos
- You learn how to write copy

- You find business contacts (I have gotten work from being on Youtube).
- I use Youtube to sell my courses etc.
- Makes you a credible resource for something.
- It becomes a good way to keep your memories alive
